The Coastal Way
The Wales Way is made up on three iconic routes, one of which is the Coastal Way. The Coastal Way runs the entire length of Cardigan Bay. It’s a 180-mile (290km) odyssey that threads between blue seas and big mountains. The start and end points is Aberdaron, a popular coastal resort that’s well worth a visit and St Davids, in the south, and are both ancient pilgrimage destinations. This coastline is dotted with harbour towns and resorts, fishing villages and secret coves. There are vast stretches of sand, towering cliffs, and beaches of all kinds in between.
The Coastal Way will give you an opportunity to immerse yourself in the authentic culture of Wales; renowned attractions, world heritage site and food. The Coastal Way gives you the chance to visit some of Wales most popular hotspots including the Llyn Peninsula, Snowdonia and Pumlumon via alternative routes and byways throughout.
Why not travel along this route and taste the epic experiences that Wales has to offer – rather than simply the journey from A to B. They’re packed with great things to see and do as you travel, giving you the local knowledge to venture off the beaten path and create your very own Welsh adventure.
