Gwydir Forest is home to world renowned Gwydir Mawr & Bach (AKA Marin Bike trail) coupled with the Penmachno bike trail makes the this part of North Wales a must visit for your mountain biking holiday. Walks in the forest provide the perfect setting for woodland adventures, with miles upon miles of tracks and walking trails to explore. The lush green forest provides a spectacular visit, no matter what time of the year you explore the ancient woodland.
Be sure to visit Swallow Falls, a magnificent waterfall system and true beauty spot just a few miles out of the village, which can be reached on foot through the forest. The falls has a small car park nearby, across the road you’ll find a more substantial pay and display car park.
