About
The Queen's Head is something of a hidden gem nestled in the charming village of Glanwydden, just outside Llandudno and Penrhyn Bay. Following a recent refurbishment the pub still maintains its quintessential feeling as a Welsh village pub with its low beamed ceilings, lots of wood, crackling log fires in the winter, profusions of colour in the gardens in summer and the warmest of welcomes at all times of the year. We just have given the girl some more space by adding a bright garden room and a new state of the art kitchen for our talented team of chefs to be even more creative in. Our bar is stocked with a good range of cask ales, some local and some from further afield, a well-balanced list of quality wines and an extensive range of quality malts and gins. The oldest part of the pub houses our snug which is popular with our locals, popping in for a swift half or G&T in the sun. Whilst our light and airy dining room is a lovely corner for a bite to eat. Our terrace and gardens are an ideal spot in the ever too brief warmer weather, whilst out there you might even spot our local flock of ducks which often pass by the pub for their daily dip in the stream. Our menu changes on a regular basis and is written and designed by our team of creative chefs, all of whom have a passion for quality, fresh, local produce. The menu is a mix of classic British dishes and also some more interesting modern dishes with an international influence.
