About

Seibiant is a specialist tea and coffee shop, where you can have smell and taste our teas and coffees before you buy. We are not technically a cafe, so only one table is available for tastings. You can however try our drinks, both in the shop and as takeaway. 

We have between 14 and 22 different coffees, and aim to get newly roasted coffees in at least monthly. We have our old favourites, such as Colombian, Brazilian and Monsoon Malabar, but coffee being a seasonal product, we can't guarantee that your favourite is in stock the next time you come in for it. You can try any of these, but we do provide tasting notes if you don't have time, and our staff are likely to have tasted every one of them, and can recommend the best way of brewing each one - and if we're feeling really geeky, can recommend the milk to go with it! We can grind your coffee to suit your brew method, or you can take beans. 

We have over 50 different teas at any one time, and you are welcome to try any of them - don't be shy, we have customers who spend hours in the shop, trying lots of different ones. We can also give you lots of information about the teas, processing methods, and again, can give you tasting notes, and help you choose the one for you. We have gift packs and hampers of tea made up ready, or we can make up a pack to your specification.

We can do the same with coffee, but we don't grind ahead of time so need some notice if you want ground coffee in a gift hamper - the alternative is that you sit down and have a coffee while we make up your pack for you.
