Map & Directions
Road Directions
Follow the brown lobster signs from the A55 onto Anglesey and then the A4080 all the way to the shore of the beautiful Menai Strait.
Public Transport Directions
Currently the No. 42 Bus service (Bangor-Llangefni via Newborough) only stops at the village of Brynsiencyn which is about 20 minutes’ walk from the aquarium. The stop is at the roundabout next to the Y Groeslon pub, from there the brown and white lobster signs can be followed to the Sea Zoo.
Trains are not very practical for visiting the Anglesey Sea Zoo as they do not necessarily fit in to the bus timetable. The nearest main station is Bangor, with Llanfairpwll being the closest request stop station. It is then possible to take a bus from Llanfairpwll to Brynsiencyn (bus service no. 42). However, this service does leave the passenger approximately 20 minutes’ walk from the aquarium.
