Transformative Photography Tutoring and Workshops Across Wales

Brad Carr, a seasoned photographer and tutor, is thrilled to announce the launch of personalised one-to-one tuition and group workshops through his School of Photography. Brad is dedicated to the spiritual practice of the art of photography, and this initiative is ultimately designed to help foster a deep reconnection with nature, offering a unique and transformative approach to photography. The foundation of photography is the technical understanding of the camera, and Brad’s ‘Introduction to Nature Photography’ workshop is next running at Gregynog Hall on Saturday 26th October 2025.

In a time when humanity is desperately seeking reconnection in the wake of the global pandemic, Brad's School of Photography encourages individuals to connect with the natural world and deepen their roots and relationship with Nature. Brad’s mission is to harness the transformational power of photography and creativity, allowing participants to experience their own sense of catharsis and deep healing through the lens of their camera.

Having transitioned from a corporate career that left a deep sense of emptiness and longing for another life, Brad found solace and purpose in photography and the natural world. This journey of soul-searching, reconnection, and self-creation has inspired Brad to guide others onto a similar path, in the hope that he can help them find their own inner child’s wonder, curiosity, and joy.

‘‘The art of photography has completely transformed my life and has introduced me to a side of myself that was unknown to me for 26 years. The camera has been a tool for deep healing and has allowed me to express many of the emotions that were repressed during a turbulent and chaotic childhood. My mission in life now is to equip as many people as possible with tools that can help them find their own sense of inner peace and healing, which I believe can only be of benefit to humanity as a collective.’’

Discover Wales’ Sacred Landscapes

Brad is eager to introduce international tourists to Wales’ natural beauty and sacred landscapes and has recently been inviting clients from across the Atlantic in the USA and Canada and as far as Australia for multiday tours. These workshops and tuition sessions are set against the backdrop of Wales’ charming and mystical scenery, offering participants an immersive experience that blends nature, psychology, philosophy and spirituality under the umbrella of art. Through his art and the School of Photography, Brad is hoping to shine light on Wales’ place on the map and enhance the reputation of this magnificent country in the eyes of a worldwide audience.

A Recognised Authoritative Voice in the Photography World

Brad has gained recognition through publications in national magazines with his photographs and writings and is excited about two upcoming features in a reputable USA magazine, which will extend his voice to the international stage. This acknowledgment solidifies Brad’s authoritative position in the photography world, and gives his work a much greater purpose.

Upcoming National Exhibition: ‘Finding Light’

In the summer of 2025, Brad will present his national exhibition ‘Finding Light’ in prestigious Welsh galleries. This exhibition will cement Brad’s reputation amongst the finest landscape photographers in the country, and, more importantly, serve to amplify the voice of Mother Nature, sharing her healing messages and emphasising the importance of our reconnection with the natural world at a time when we, as a collective, most need it.

Brad is also available for public speaking engagements, having delivered talks for the Royal Photographic Society, camera clubs, online photography communities, care homes, and local community groups. In March 2025, Brad will present at Gregynog Hall with the talk ‘Finding Light: A Journey into Nature to Find My Soul’.
