About
“World-class mountain bike trails, family walks and running trails for all tastes and fitness levels.
Coed y Brenin made its name in the 1990s as Britain's first purpose-built mountain bike centre.
Today, mountain bikers still make up around half of the visitors here. They are drawn by the eight purpose-built mountain bike trails, a skills area and a bike shop.
The visitor centre also welcomes many other visitors who come to enjoy activities such as walking, trail running, orienteering and geocaching.
There’s plenty for children, too, with three playgrounds to choose from including a "free play" area where they can make dens and dam streams.
Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre has been awarded the Gold Award by Visit Wales for attractions which make an exceptional effort to create an enjoyable and memorable experience for their visitors.”

“Llwybrau beicio mynydd o'r radd flaenaf, llwybrau cerdded i'r teulu, a llwybrau rhedeg at ddant pawb ac ar gyfer pob lefel o ffitrwydd.
Daeth Coed y Brenin yn enwog yn y 1990au fel canolfan beicio mynydd bwrpasol gyntaf Prydain.
Heddiw, mae beicwyr mynydd yn dal i gyfrif am tua hanner yr ymwelwyr yma. Cânt eu denu gan yr wyth llwybr beicio mynydd pwrpasol, ardal sgiliau a siop feiciau.
Mae'r ganolfan ymwelwyr hefyd yn croesawu llawer o ymwelwyr eraill sy'n dod i fwynhau gweithgareddau fel cerdded, llwybr-redeg, cyfeiriadu a geogelcio.
Mae digon i blant hefyd, gyda thair ardal chwarae yn cynnwys ardal "chwarae rhydd" lle gallant wneud cuddfannau a nentydd argae.
Mae Canolfan Ymwelwyr Parc Coed y Brenin wedi ennill gwobr aur. Dyfarnwyd y wobr gan Croeso Cymru am atyniadau sy’n gwneud ymdrech fawr i roi profiad pleserus a chofiadwy i’w hymwelwyr.”
