Prestatyn Central

The wide Prestatyn Central is the main beach in Prestatyn. The Blue Flag beach stretches for miles and is very popular with visitors to the area. Along Prestatyn’s promenade, adjacent to the beach, there’s plenty to do including a host of activities at the leisure centre and amusement arcades which provide fun for the whole family.

Walkers can take advantage of the Welsh Coast Path which passes Prestatyn’s Central. The beach is also part of the North Wales Cycle Trail & Offa’s Dyke Path. Out at sea, the beach is popular with sailors and windsurfers, there’s also a lifeguard service.

Dog restrictions apply on Prestatyn Central beach – although there is a dog exercise area. The beach has toilets, disabled facilities and a café. Other facilities including shops are located in Prestatyn’s town centre, which is nearby.
