For glamping holidays in North Wales, Graig Wen has an amazing location set in 45 private acres of Snowdonia National Park near Barmouth and Dolgellau. Perfect for a romantic wild escape or family adventure – our yurts, new Shepher'ds Hut and bell tent are close to the coast and surrounded by breathtaking mountain and woodland scenery. Guests are blown away by the views of the Mawddach estuary and tranquility as well as the many activities and attractions nearby.

We live on site and you will find a warm welcome with great advice about the best places to eat out and what not to miss so you can make the most of your short break. Order freshly baked croissants for breakfast and buy local craft beers from our small shop so you can relax around the camp fire.

Our glamping accommodation is dog friendly and it’s easy to bring your four legged friend with wonderful walks from the door step and plenty of dog friendly beaches, cafes and pubs.

Glamping in the Glade
In a secret silver birch glade just off the beaten track from the main camp site you can stay in one of three yurts or Jones the Shepherd's Hut. The accommodation feels secluded although you will see your few fellow glampers through trees. You are close to private washing facilities just for glampers and can park by your accommodation.

Wild Glamping
For a wilder glamping adventure, Idris yurt and our bell tent are hidden away in the woods and meadows of tent camping fields. Super secluded and away from it all, you will have an eco-loo nearby but it’s a long walk back uphill to other facilities. Parking is a few minutes walk/wheelbarrow away in the campers’ car park but when you check in / out we can give you a lift in our off road vehicle.

Winter Glamping
During the colder months, our Shepherd's Hut is sited in a secluded silver birch glad with private compost loo and shower. Idris yurt is moved to the upper part of the camp site complete with electricity and washing facilities practically en suite. You will have woodburning stoves as well as electricity for extra heat, lighting, and to make your morning cuppa. The small, sheltered site has big estuary views and your neighbours will be the odd out of season camper van or caravan.
Open March – April and October – December. Closed January and February.
