Pen y Bont is a family-run touring park, situated in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park near the shores of Llyn Tegid/Bala Lake.

We’re a 5 min walk from Bala town and a 2 min walk from Bala Lake. Whether you’re looking for adventure or a relaxing getaway, Pen y Bont will be perfect for you.

The Bala and North Wales area is packed with activities for thrill-seekers. This includes the world-famous Zip World, Tryweryn White Water Rafting, Surf Snowdonia, and many more only a short drive away. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing few days away, you can relax in our beautiful and peaceful site and take in the scenery and the fresh, crisp air of the Snowdonia National Park.

All our touring pitches are hardstanding with a choice of full hardstanding or with awnings on grass. All pitches are serviced with an electrical hook up point with some being fully serviced. Please let us know your requirements when you call or via the enquiry form and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The camping field here at Pen y Bont is set in an area of its own but not too far away from the Caravan and Motorhome pitches for those of you travelling with friends.

Park Shop

Whether you’re in a caravan, motorhome, tent, or glamping, you can travel light, as there is a well-stocked shop/reception catering for most of your camping needs. This includes tent pegs, airbeds, other accessories, bread, milk, free-range eggs, local cheese, and much more.

We also have daily delivery (excluding Sunday) from T.J Roberts, award-winning local butchers, for your delicious BBQ.

Calor gas is available for purchase and exchange

Wi-Fi is available at a small cost.
