Nine luxury Award winning Cottages / Log Cabins situated on the edge of Snowdonia National Park and the foot of the Berwyn Mountains. We cater to all parties , from one bedroom cosy retreats up to a large spacious house sleeping 10. Each property has its own private garden and Hot tub.

With stunning views in all directions this will be a truly unique place to stay. All nine properties are Award Winning and graded 5 Star.  Each Rivercatcher cottage has its own private secure garden with private hot tub and shares the extensive surrounding gardens and riverside walks of its small estate. Our games room 'The Lodge' is accessible for all of our guests and can be used for large groups for dinners and other celebrations.

Our Five Luxury Holiday Cottages

Cilan Farmhouse (sleeps 10) has five bedrooms, sleeping 10 people, each with its own design and character. It is light and airy with lots of space to spread out. Cilan Farmhouse is perfect for a large family or a group of friends.

Gamekeeper's Cottage (sleeps 8) has a stunning riverside location. With an extensive private south facing garden there is plenty of space for 8 people to relax and enjoy. All four bedrooms have their own bathroom or en-suite with the first floor bedroom having its own roll top bath in the room with views of the river. The living space is large and bright and steps straight out onto the outside patio area with access to its own private hot tub. Gamekeeper's Cottage has 2 fixed double beds with an option to turn the other 2 doubles into twins.

Flyfisher's Cottage (sleeps 6) has a beautiful setting on the bend of the river. With its raised decked area outside, it truly makes the most of its position. This luxury cottage has three bedrooms one of which has an en suite with the other two sharing a spacious bathroom with separate shower and roll top bath. The living space leads on to the raised outside decked area so that the meandering river views can be seen from both inside and out. This riverside cottage has the best view of the salmon pool, and if you are lucky you will see the salmon jumping. Flyfisher's Cottage has 1 fixed double and 1 fixed twin with an option to turn the master double bed into a twin.

Shepherds Cottage (Sleeps 4) has magnificent views of the Berwyn mountain range. It has two en suite king-size bedrooms and sleeps 4 people comfortably. It has a light and airy open plan living area complete with log burning stove. As with all our cottages it has its own private hot tub looking within its own walled garden. Shepherd's Cottage has 1 fixed double with an option to turn the master bedroom into a twin.

Ghillie's Cottage (Sleeps 2) An ideal romantic luxury countryside retreat. This is a one bedroom cosy cottage full of character. With its woodburning stove set in the original inglenook fireplace in the snug sitting room, you won't want to leave. The new kitchen/dining room extension boasts great views of the river and will be full of light with its full length windows, not forgetting the private hot tub on your patio area.

Our Four Luxury Log Cabins

Lagom (Sleeps 2) Lagom (la-gom) is our Scandinavian style Log Cabin. With a simple timeless elegance of sleek lines and neutral colours this has a light and airy feel. Wood floors and cosy textiles bring a warmth to the lovely open space of the living area. Lagom is a Swedish word which means 'not too little, not too much, just right'. It's about balance and making sure you take time restore the balance in your life with a little break away of course!

Cwtch (Sleeps 2)  Cwtch (kutch) has a modern rusttic  style combining earthly elements with a modern design. A copper worktop and sawn, woven timbers of the kitchen cabinets, earthy colours and sheepskin textiles all compliment the natural surroundings outside. You'll feel part of landscape without leaving your Log Cabin. Cwtch is a Welsh word. It is the act of creating a small space between you and another, It is like a hug... but much much better! To 'cwtch-up' is to snuggle up with someone, particularly lovely on a cold welsh winters night. What better place to do this then in a log cabin in the Welsh countryside.

Hyggelig (Sleeps 2) Hyggelig (hoo-gah-lig) is our traditional Nordic style log cabin. Internal wood cladding making Hyggelig feel cosy and inviting. A wood burning fire, faux fur throws, soft fabrics with a modern open feel. With a stylish soft feel hot tub to relax and unwind in, you feel miles away from the stress of everyday life. 'Hyggelig' can be defined as togetherness, relaxation, indulgence, presence and comfort. All things we trust you'll feel in this luxury log cabin.

Gezellig (Sleeps 2) Gezellig (heh-sell-ick) is our gesture to a bohemian style log cabin. With an eclectic mix of styles and colours it has a vibrant and fun yet relaxed feel.The Dutch word Gezellig means cosy and friendly, comfortable and relaxing, enjoyable or gregarious. It can also denote time spent with loved ones, or general togetherness. It's less about a word and more about a feeling. A feeling which we have created for you to experience.
