About

Tucked away in the cobbled streets of Conwy walled town, the Royal Cambrian Academy of Art is a centre for artistic excellence in Wales. Constituted in 1882, the academy has up to 150 members. mostly professional artists and all have a connection to Wales.

The Royal Cambrian Academty of Art exhibits and sells academedicians' work through a varied programme, culminating in the members' Annual Summer Exhibition. This highlight of the calendar has been staged since the Academy's inception.

We currently have two Exhibitions at the Gallery - Artists and Makers of Conwy showing the work of RCA Member Graham Hembrough in our Lower Gallery and in our Upper Gallery the work of RCA Member Mick Brown - Contemplations.

We also run a regular programme of Workshops, Life Drawing and Summer Art School - for more information please either contact the Gallery or go to our website at www.rcaconwy.org

Opening Times

* Open Tuesday - Saturday (11am-5pm).
