Conwy Pirates CIC organises the renowned Conwy Pirate Festival, an annual celebration of the town's historical and maritime legacy. This fun family event attracts re-enactors and enthusiasts from around the world, growing in popularity each year.
The event revolves around our legendary pirate battle when the pirates enter the harbour aboard their ship Vilma with cannons blazing. They meet a vigorous rebuttal from the guns of the medieval castle and militia on the quayside and town walls.
We have a variety of pirate themed games to entertain kids of all ages. Complete all our games and obtain a certificate of competency in piracy. (Letter of Marque)
In addition we have themed stalls in the smugglers market selling pirate stuff
Throughout the day we have music acts on stage and on the quay
Multiple photo opportunities abound amongst our many props
