Road Directions
If travelling by car take the A487 north from Porthmadog. Turn right on to the A498 at Tremadog and turn right again after about 2.5 miles onto the B4410. The entrance is on the right before the level crossing.
Public Transport Directions
There is a bus service between Porthmadog and Beddgelert every 2 hours. It doesn’t stop directly at the site, so a short walk is necessary. Call Traveline Cymru on 0871 200 2233 to find out more. Alternatively why not travel in style and take the steam train? – there is a halt at Pont Croesor on the Welsh Highland Railway.
